Job Summary
To deliver leading-edge technical consultancy in Power Systems Analysis and Electrical Engineering and Design. The base location will be at our office in Teesside supporting customers in the Renewables, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Manufacturing, Utilities and Energy sectors. The role may require the occasional plant surveys at onshore and offshore facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake high-quality detailed electrical design projects, encompassing calculations, analysis, schematics, drawings, and specifications for LV and HV electrical equipment.
- Leverage ETAP and DIgSILENT for load flow, short-circuit analysis, arc flash studies, and more.
- Represent the company professionally in all interactions, fostering strong client relationships and achieving project objectives.
- Lead continual improvement processes within the electrical engineering function, and mentor junior engineers.
- Take full ownership of assigned projects from inception to completion, ensuring quality, compliance, and cost control.
- Interpret client requirements and deliver effective technical solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest electrical standards and regulations.
Qualifications/ Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- Extensive experience in power system design and engineering. (FEED experience preferable).
- Familiar with NEC, IEEE/ANSI, IEC, and other international electrical standards and best practices.
- A track record of technical leadership on EPC-type projects
