Aberarder Wind Farm
Engineering Power Solutions (EPS) has been awarded the contract to carry out detailed design and all power system studies for a new 132/33kV substation and 33kV cable array works for the Aberarder Wind Farm in the Scottish Highlands.
Project Overview
The 50MW wind farm with 12 turbines will be able to offset more than 35,000 metric tonnes of carbon emissions annually and generate enough energy to power 60,000 homes annually.

- Reactive Power Study
- Load Flow & Short Circuit Analysis
- Arc Flash & Protection Coordination Studies
EPS’s scope of work for detailed design entails all documentation and drawings associated with primary and secondary equipment.
